for a constituency:

not money

I’m not

motivated

by money, 

and I’m

very careful

with it, 

but can act bold 

with comprehensive

analysis 

and plan

of hard-earned

expertise

in being competent

and thorough,

making sure

I'm fully versed

before engaging

"experts"

that are no excuse

for due diligence

and accounting.

To sweat the details.

 

For me

—accountability 

and competence 

come first.

 

Though I wasn’t 

born in San Francisco, 

my family’s roots 

run deep here. 

​

My parents worked 

at SF General 

and met there; 

my siblings

were born 

at St. Luke’s. 

​

My grandfather

trained 

as a dentist

at UCSF, 

and my aunt

was a 

public health nurse 

in the ‘50s and ‘60s. 

 

This City 

is a part 

of who I am. 

​

I want to help 

rebuild its future 

so that we can

all be proud of

the future we all

are building.
